Career Girls

Over the past five years, our organization has grown significantly. We have added many new role model videos and have encouraged thousands of girls to believe in themselves and start planning for their future. Through the years we have asked for your feedback and welcomed new ideas on how to improve our offerings. And now, we are proud to announce the launch of our brand new website! 

 

The new site features multiple ways to discover and view videos, and new tools to explore careers and role models. Each career’s “How do I do this” page has been revamped to include typical college courses in addition to detailed career information and useful links to outside resources. 

 

Our Educators section now offers lesson plans paired with short videos for a number of important topics such as “Career Exploration 101”, “Why Choose STEM”, and “The Importance of Integrity.” These lesson plans are tailored for use by teachers in the classroom, group leaders, 1-on-1 mentors, and students. We will be adding many new topics over the next month, so check back often.

 

Another fun feature of our site offers girls a tool to search by interest. Deciding what to do with your future is pretty difficult, and you don’t have to choose right now. We make it painless to explore a large variety of options. Simply check the boxes that interest you, and you will find hours of inspiring videos to spark your passions. This tool is especially valuable because it allows you to learn about yourself. Figuring out what you like, and perhaps more importantly, what you don’t like, is a very important part of growing up.
