A Letter to My Younger Self….
Wednesday, August 30, 2017
Dear Girls!
I am so excited to share with you! It is such an honor to be able to give you a brief view of my life’s journey. As a scientist, inventor, and author, I want you to know that you are smart, confident, and strong. There is absolutely nothing that you can't accomplish. In this blog series, you will discover that the creative side of life is one of the best. There is so much more. This is the beauty of being a woman. We express creativity, beauty, and ultimately life.
A Letter to my younger self…
Dear Karen,
Hidden deep with your DNA, you have within you the ability to affect change in the world in a positive way. You have within you the ability to create, to cultivate, to nurture, to give, to invent, to explore, and so much more. I want you to not worry so much about fitting in, being accepted by the “popular kids,” and your hair. You are beautiful just the way you are. You are a masterpiece just the way God made you. Being the best you that you can be is enough. Stay focused on being your best self and people will love you for being your authentic self. You will one day impact the world in a way that only you can. I’m proud of you for all of your accomplishments; your solo in honor band, your placement in the science fair, and for helping out around the house. You don’t know this yet, but all of this will help you in your future. Keep up the good work!
Love always,
Karen
