How to Use the Child Health Chart
FIRST, write the
months of
the year
in the little
squares at
the bottom
of the chart.
Write the month the baby was born
in the first square for each year.
This chart shows the baby was born in March.
SECOND, weigh the child.
Let us suppose that a child was born in April. It is
now August, and the child weighs 6 kilograms.
THIRD, look at the card.
Kilograms are written on the side of the card.
Look for the number of kilograms the child weighs
(in this case, 6).
