It is easy to know where to put the
dot if you hold a square piece of
paper against the chart.
1 Line up one
edge of the
paper with the
child’s weight.
Each month weigh the
child and put another
dot on the chart.
If the child is healthy,
each month the new
dot will be higher on
the chart than the last.
