THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD LESSON: EATING ENOUGH!
Too often nutrition education emphasizes diet quality and pays too little attention
to quantity. Needs vary from place to place, but in general far more emphasis
needs to be given to how much a child eats, and how often.
Some field workers suggest that, in places where regular child-weighing
programs are being carried out, one main nutrition message should be emphasized:
