3. Lighting
Performances are often more effective after dark. Also, more working people can
attend at night. But some form of lighting is needed. Gasoline or kerosene lamps
can be used, or electric lights if available.
Be careful not to place the lights between the audience and the actors,
unless the lights are covered so they do not shine in people’s eyes.
